O2 Arena – Award Winners
Multi Award Winning Event from Bookingline….Business Event of the Year and Best UK and International Conference ….at the equivalent of the Oscars for the event industry. Eventia Awards.
The Entrepreneurs Bootcamp held at the O2 Arena was the first and largest business seminar event held in the iconic venue… and set the European record for the largest indoor HD projection screen.
The two day event was held to rase money for Make A Wish Foundation UK, with all ticket proceeds going to the charity to help children with life threatening or terminal illnesses. The Bootcamp raised over £700,000, which attendees paid direct to the charity.
The Brighton Centre
Bookingline have arranged and hosted four large seminar-style events at the Brighton Centre – with audiences maxing out the venue’s 4,000+ seats. Speakers were flown into nearby Gatwick airport from around the globe.
Innovative wide-screen projection spanning the entire width of the venue’s auditorium, brought applause from the audience, as panoramic images of Hong Kong, New York, and other cities were unveiled as backdrops to speaker’s presentations, complete with sound effects of New York traffic, Hong Kong’s bustling harbour to complete the scene.
Each of the Brighton events were held to raise money for children’s charities– including Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Make a Wish Foundation UK
The Excel – London
The ICC Auditorium at London’s iconic Excel Centre, is probably the largest flexible event space in London and was chosen by Bookingline two years running, to host seminar events.
Bookingline’s experience with providing the best audio visual experience for the enjoyment of attendees and speakers alike, made these 3 day events a huge success. State of the art sound and lighting rigs were brought in to augment the in-house staging. A creative video team also recorded the entire three days, to provide recordings for those who could attend on the day, or who wished to have their own copy of the event that they had attended.
As with other similar Bookingline events, all ticket proceeds went to a leading children’s charity – Blind Children UK.
BIC – Bournemouth
The 4,000 seater Bournemouth International Centre, on the south coast was chosen by Bookingline for a 3 day business event held to raise money for charity.
The BIC in-house staging and show facilities were upgraded with new sound and lighting, plus a full multi-camera broadcast crew to record every moment of this memorable event.
The availability of reasonably-priced accommodation for delegates to stay locally over the three nights, in the Bournemouth area, plus the in-house catering facilities, meant that delegates could immerse themselves in the whole sold-out three day event.
Queen Elizabeth II Centre
The Queen Elizabeth II Centre was the Bookingline choice of venue for a series of private Financial workshop training events. The purpose-built conference facility is located right in the heart of London in the City of Westminster, close to Houses of Parliament and boasts auditoriums offering up to 3,000 attendee places.
The QEII Centre was chosen for its central location; specialist facilities for workshop style events, where delegates need desk space throughout the training event, for laptops, notebooks etc and for its in-house staging.
Also in-house, the QEII catering team, provide delicious cuisine cooked with the finest and freshest ingredients. Their wide range of menu options ensured that delegates found food and drink to complement the events. As with other Bookingline events, the team were on hand to help with dietary requirements and special requests throughout.
2022 saw the first Bookingline fully Virtual Online Event – a 2-day seminar featuring guest speakers from around the world, all linked to the main presenter stage in the UK.
Using Zoom Webinar, the regular event, which had been held pre-covid, in large auditoriums, was this year hosted entirely online.
Feedback from attendees was that they actually preferred the virtual format as it allowed them to stay in the comfort of their own homes, able to focus more on the content of the event. No traveling costs, no hotel costs and in general, just an enjoyable experience.
Backstage is where the technical magic happens, setting Bookingline events apart from competitors in the industry.
From purpose-built staging; relay monitors to ensure every member of the audience can see PowerPoint presentations; huge HD projection screens, enhanced audio facilities, creative video recording team with broadcast-quality equipment and on-site editors live-mixing the two or three day events so they are available as full Box Set recordings within 24 hours of an event being held.
